In the 17th century, Mughal princess
Gull Khatoon married Ali Sher Khan Anchan, king of Baltistan, and was given the Balti name Mindoq Rigialmo — meaning Flower Queen. She brought Mughal artistry to the mountains of Skardu. Every stitch in our collection honors her enduring legacy.
